When VMware released vSphere 5.5 packages at the same time VMware vCloud Suite 5.5 become available. When you compare vCloud Suite 5.1 editions with vCloud Suite 5.5 there are some important differences between both versions. VMware “upgrades” all vCloud suite versions with new products and add few more products to vCloud Suite Standard (see info below).
Differences:
- vCloud Automation Center 5,2 – included in all vCloud suite packages in version 5.5. Now it make sense
to heaving vCLoud suite with automation engine and self service portal in the package. In version 5.1 of vCloud suite, vCloud automation Center was available only with most expensive versions. - VMware vCenter Operations Manager Standard – all vCloud suite packages – in version 5.1 was vCOPS essentials
