Upgrade from vSphere 5 to vSphere 5.1 – Part 6

Before you start

Step # 6 Upgrading vSphere Web client in vSphere 5.1

Mount vSphere 5.1 installation package, mark on VMware vSphere WEB client and click on install button

Choose language version
Instillation wizard detects earlier version, click Next to continue

Agree on license agreement
Specify WEB client port settings, default ports for vSphere web client are http – 9090 https -9443
Provide credentials for Single Sign-On server

Click on Install button to Finish installation
Done, test WEB client functionality

Step # 5 Upgrading to ESXi VMware vSphere 5.1 from ESXi 4.1 and ESXi 5.0 using VMware vSphere Update Manager.
