What’s new in Nutanix Prism Central 2022.6
Last week Nutanix released a new version of its management plane tool, Prism Central 2022.6. The release has several new features and a lot of security and bug fixes.
Refactored/Unified Projects – The refactored/unified Projects provide a consistent user experience irrespective of whether the user accesses it from Prism Central, that is, Administration -> Projects or from Services -> Calm -> Projects. Some of the new features include the new project dashboard, workload per project, usage statistics, and so on.
Cluster RBAC for Volume Group – Cluster role-based access control (RBAC) for Volume Group feature enables a super-admin user to provide Prism Admin and Prism Viewer roles access to one or more clusters registered with Prism Central. A user with a Prism Admin role can view and update the entities like volume groups and virtual disks from the allowed clusters. However, a user with the Prism Viewer role can only view the entities.
Sharing Entities in Prism
